Last Sunday was Father’s Day and officially the beginning of Summer! So, what better day to document for my One Roll, One Day film photo project?!
The big kids and I started the day by making sourdough pancakes for breakfast. (Yes, I’ve jumped on the sourdough bandwagon, and while I’m still perfecting my loaves of bread, I will say these pancakes are pretty perfect! I don’t even like pancakes, but these are SO good!) I am very OCD about kitchen messes, and cooking with kids is definitely a test in patience. But they LOVE to help, so I sucked it up and tried to let them learn and have fun! I also think they just wanted easy access to the chocolate chips. The middle of the day mostly consisted of wrestling matches, art projects and naps. Then in the afternoon we picked up a pizza and headed to the beach for a picnic and some vitamin sea.
